Easter Sunday April 9, 2023-Our Anniversary

We don't like touristy things..HOWEVER, how do you come to Slovenia and NOT see Lake Bled?  Especially when you love photography?  So, we went.  And I would NEVER go again, but I am glad I have the picture!!  Then we went on to Triglav National Park.  We did some good hiking and saw some different birds.  The pictures of some of the birds aren't the best, but they are identifiable.  

The only thing to tell from today is that we actually made a wrong turn on one of those AWFUL roads and we ended up in someones driveway, scraping the bottom of the BMW we are driving as a rental, and taking 20 minutes to turn around, and re-scraping the bottom on the way down.  OUCH.  These streets are unbelievable at times.

We were able to see some snow up at Triglav, so yes, I was VERY happy about that!  

More tomorrow!  More adventures with wildlife...and depending on how early we get up POSSIBLY Velika Panina.

Grey Heron (our working theory here...have to look him up...NEVER in water, always in fields...so similar to our Great Blue Herons.
